Smart Sign Anywhere connects smart cards in readers to applications via standardized or proprietary interfaces. It makes Public Key Infrastructure applications able to use cryptographic tokens regardless of the type of the token through standard APIs. The middlewares can be used with a variety of Secure Signature-Creation Devices in trusted and un-trusted environment and they are highly customizable to easily integrate new products.

SmartSign Anywhere Token Management Utility allows the user to manage all the objects on the cards, including PINs and personal data.

  • Maximize efficiency by using your existing cards and equipment
  • Minimize costs with a flexible, customizable software product
  • Manage all your cards from the same interface to have a better overview
  • Increase security – even in an un-trusted environment
SmartSign Anywhere contains the following components:

  • Microsoft CSP
  • Microsoft Mini Driver
  • PKCS 11
  • Token Management Utility

All SmartSign Anywhere components are built in a modular way in order to support multiple types of cards and can be customized for proprietary cards

  • Support of Trusted or Un-trusted Environment

SmartSign Anywhere middleware allows the smartcard to be used in both trusted or un-trusted environment, depending on the user’s needs. Both asymmetric device authentication based on CV certificates and symmetric method are supported.

  • Use Any Type of PKI Enabled Smart Card and Readers

Use one of the variety SSCD cards that are already included* or involve new cards and readers by Smart Card Abstraction Layer. PINPAD readers are easily involved by means of Smart Card Reader Abstraction Layer.

  • Extend functionality

SmartSign Anywhere uses custom modules in order to manage 3rd party smart card applications. The plug-in architecture makes it easy to manage card / application specific functionality.

  • Meet the directives

SmartSign Anywhere can work with industrial standard APIs, like PKCS#11 API, Java Cryptographic Architecture** fulfills the requirements of a variety of industrial and international standards, such as European Citizen Card (CEN/TS 15480-3) or Common Access Card (DoD CAC).
